March Steam & Vintage Rally, Cambridgeshire, 5th August 2017

It feels recently as if there are never any nice days to go out and take photos, especially over the weekend when you don’t have to work.

Last Saturday it looked like we may get a break in the weather. Mrs S and I decided to head into the fens and go to the local steam and vintage rally at March.

This one was not as big as some of the others that appear locally (Haddenham Steam Rally being one). However, with traction engines, classic cars and a falconry display, there was enough there to keep you occupied for a few hours.

After spending some time having a wander and visiting the stalls etc, true to form, the rain started to fall, eventually getting to a point where it was making our shoes soggy and we decided to call time.

The rain ended up creating more of a mist in the sky so a lot of the pictures I did manage to get are a bit dreary and lacking atmosphere. That said, I decided to share them anyway.

Annoyingly, after we left, the sun came out for a while and it was quite nice for a period. That’s the nature of the beast I guess, especially during the British summer time.

Hopefully we will see some good weather in the next few weeks…. somehow I doubt it.

Thanks for looking.
