Most of my life I have been a big fan of trucks and for the past 2 years have been to Truckfest at Peterborough Showground.
As you can imagine, it is full of trucks, trucks and more trucks.
There is a wide selection of montster trucks, haulage trucks, road trucks and various international trucks from the States and Europe.
The truck stands and parades allow for some great photographic moments, so I took along my trusty canon and set about taking pictures.
One of my favourite shots of the day, Bigfoot #17 from the European franchise of Bigfoot trucks accelerating away in the arena
American trucks in the arena
American trucks are very rarely boring, look at the colours on this one
This truck was purchased by it’s owner, just because he wanted to
Some of the trucks here are just normal day to day trucks
Others have excellent artwork, some simple, some more intricate
Even the RAF showed up
There were bike stunts from the WD40/Animal Action Sports Tour
Jumping the bar on a BMX
More bike stunts
The WD40/Animal Action Sports Tour team
Bigfoot #10 over from the States to take part in this years Truckfest events
Bigfoot #17 getting some air
Bigfoot #10 hanging on two wheels
This is how they do it on the other side of the pond… serious air time
Bringing it back down
Now the British showing how it’s done on our land
These things are huge!
Bigfoot, the original monster truck
As you can tell, I did love the monster trucks. If you are in anyway interested in big vehicles with loud throaty engines, go check out a Truckfest near you.
Thanks for looking.
